I have provided a link to my issue over on the Aggieland board. I'd like anyone's thoughts on this change, without my consent.

I'm surprised you had it that long. We haven't had net metering in Georgia for a looooong time. We sell back at 3.5 cents. The cost, including taxes is about 10 - 14 cents

Wow......BTU held onto their generous net metering subsidy for small/residential solar by all their other customers for a long time. The contract language you posted over there is pretty standard boilerplate most state PUC's have approved over the years.

-Did they not give you the required advance notice in the contract?
-Do you think BTU and the City Council who must approve any BTU rate/process/contract changes like this didn't follow the required meeting rules as the change went through the approval process?

Many states where the municipal utilities are completely state PUC regulated mandated an end to net metering structures for small residential some time ago when the "poor people" realized they were subsidizing the cost of solar installations for mostly upper middle class and wealthy home owners.
