Wonder what is going on?!!

All flights to and from El Paso are grounded, including commercial, cargo and general aviation.

The FAA said it's halted all flights for what it calls "special security reasons" but has not said what those reasons are.

If the US were to do some type of military operation in Mexico, Ft. Bliss (right next to E.P.'s airport) would be a great place from which to do it.

Restrictions cancelled. I think they're pouring the champagne back into the bottle and trying to get a refund now. But what a bizarre move by FAA.

Fort Bliss leadership apparently wasn't in the loop. Just a very, very odd sequence.

seems like not jumping the gun was the right move by the incompetent airline.
