Guess TripAdvisor bought it and now shut it down. It wasn't perfect but I used it often.

I started using https://seatmaps.com/ about a year ago.

It's better that seatguru

i discovered both seatguru's absence and seatmaps as a replacement this weekend. seatmaps is pretty good from what i have seen.

Tripadvisor bought SeatGuru in 2007 and let it atrophy about 5 years ago. Data was stale enough to barely be useful. Aerolopa is a much better source today.

Thanks for the background. I didn't know about the Aerolopa site.

Since I went 5 years without leaving the USA (Mar 2020 - Feb 2025), I didn't really need to look anything up so I guess I didn't notice that seatguru had died off.
