We flew onto Kangerlussuaq for a hunting trip so I was only in and out of Nuuk. But the Skyline Bar at Hotel Hans Egede was nice. Bonus points because they had a bottle of Springbank 15. I got to eat whale for the first time at Hotel Soma's restaurant.

The culture center has a cafe inside that had a sampler of Greenlandic tapas. I thought it was a good variety of meats but no whale thankfully!

I have no idea why I expected a tuna steak. They're mammals after all! It looked like a sirloin steak served with onions and brown gravy. It didn't taste like beef (or muskox for that matter), but I wouldn't starve. My friend thought it was similar to liver and onions. I think I prefer whale to liver.
