Doing 2 weeks in Amsterdam/Milan end of the month, I usually only do 1 week at a time so my carry on is enough (altho my backpack gets heavy), but this time I know my carry on won't be enough, but I really don't do long vacations often so I don't want to spend $300+ on a check in bag I might not use again.

I was looking at this one, figure it's one of those products Amazon buys off a manufacturer and just stamp their logo on.

You could get something similar at Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx.

I have one. It works fine and has lasted several years and dozens of countries. I have switched to a backpack but not against anything about my Amazon bag.

Good quality and durability.

My wife has this one. No issues to date. Would buy it again.

I have had one for a couple of years and it has held up completely fine. I am not a heavy traveler - probably one trip per quarter so probably ballpark of 8-10 trips now, but it is in as good of shape as the day I got it.

Getting a load of laundry done during your trip will be cheaper.

As long as you don't mind smelling like smoke if you get your laundry done in China

I took a carryon and a personal item to China for 3 weeks. Are you sure you want to check bags?

I have the 3 piece set (carry-on, mid-size, large-size). I've taken the mid- and large-size bags on probably 8-10 flights and they've held up really well. The carry-on has been on 30+ flights and has also held up well except for the extendable handle. It has started to develop a hard time retracting back into the bag. It doesn't happen every time it's extended and it eventually goes in by shaking it back and forth a few times.

I did that recently and found some damn good luggage for $89 and less.

But I've got buddies with Amazon basics luggage and enjoy it. I know I'd no way buy $200-$300 luggage

Went to TJ Maxx and got a 27 in one for around $76. Should be good enough for this trip
