Heading to PC next week for the first time with The Rib. Thinking we'll try an all-inclusive for four nights, having never done that.

Appreciate any recommendations or things to watch out for.

Just know the food in the DR is typically not as good as other locations. For beautiful beaches, Secrets Cap Cana or Hyatt Zilara as mentioned above. Secrets Royal Beach is one of my top sellers BUT it is getting older and not as fresh, but typically prices well. Secrets Tides, Excellence resorts are other top sellers. There is a brand new Secrets but its about 90 minutes from the airport, so not sure I would do that for 4 nights.

I went to PC for the first time last year and did an all-inclusive for a few nights, definitely made things easy since you don't have to stress about bills while you're there. Just make sure you double-check what's actually included, like some places limit certain drinks or activities unless you pay extra. If they have any tours or spa treatments, I'd try to book those ahead because they fill up fast. Also, don't go crazy on the food right away, pace yourself so you don't feel stuffed all the time. Bringing some cash for tips or little extras is always handy too.

Hyatt Zilara was one of our favorite all inclusives we've done.

My understanding from talking to our corporate booking people is that it's Hyatt's #2 property in the world.
