Has anyone ever done a tour to Komodo National Park area to see the Komodo dragons? I am hoping to add it to an extended trip to SE Asia in the fall. I was thinking of joining a island hopping group boat tour but don't want to go for more than a couple days? Any suggestions on specific tour guides or advice is appreciated. Thanks

We did the day trip from Labuan Bajo. Went through a local agency that used Ocean Queen Boat. They were incredible. Very quick pick up from the hotel, great experience at Komodo National Park , visited the islands for the pink and black beaches, etc.
I spoke to some people who did the 2-3 day cruise, and it sounds like there are a ton of options, and minimal difference between them. It is pretty basic sounding, but makes some more upscale options are available.

All of the Lesser Sunda Islands are incredible with the Komodo's being iconic for the oversized species of monitor lizards. As said above the pink sand beaches are great and the diving is superb.
The Komodo island itself was pretty basic when I was there.
