You'll be close to starfish point which is fun, especially with kids.

Yeah, usually Sat/Sun/Mon are the best days since most of the cruises are weekend to weekend - meaning they hit Cayman the most Tues-Thurs and some occasional Friday action.
I also just recommend doing it very first thing. We were the 1st boat out there when we did it, which was awesome

Anything in the water. The general absence of large waves in the ocean is lake-like, and amazing.
The turtle center was nice, but swimming with them in the ocean is always better.
The parrot sanctuary is also cool. They give you a coupon for the restaurant across the street that does a daily shark/fish/bird feeding daily at something like 5 pm

If I was at Rum Point in GC, I'd dive the north wall all day, every day. Then drink Havana Club at night.

A few of these recommendations above are in George Town and Seven Mile Beach. Both are forty five minutes to an hour from Rum Point.
Isn't there a bioluminescent beach near Rum Point? I thought I had read about it out that way but we were staying on the other side of the island and did night dives instead.
Edit: just looked it up. Looks like it's in Rum Point. Biobay on google maps. There's a kayak outfitter nearby, too.

It just occurred to me, but Sunday brunch at Luca is a must IMO.
Thanks guys, we are for sure doing snorkeling at the reef and stingray bay and then bio bay. May do crystal caves as that's not far from us as well. Will probably hit up the caboose, looks pretty good.
The crystal caves were a little disappointing imo. Quite pricey and it seemed like they were trying to push you through as quick as possible and upsell you at every turn. We had a great tour guide that made up for it, but it seemed like they were trying to push him out.
We did the caves in 2018 and agree. Kind of neat but I didn't think worth the time unless for some reason you get bored at the end of your trip

Little Cayman is better for that. But nothing else to do but dive there, so not much fun for non-divers.millerjohnr said:

I think the two have similarities, but give me LC all day. SCTLD isn't doing GC any favors either. Hasn't shown up on LC yet, but the Aggressor will probably manage to bring it over eventually.
Another good lunch or breakfast spot on GC, particularly for waiting out a layover at the airport is the Georgetown Yacht Club.

Prob been to GC over 50 times. Finally decided to sell our two condos after basically getting tired of the prices there. Good luck with downtown when multiple ships are there.

- Rent a palapa and chairs
- Drink all day and tip heavily for same
- Fried conch for lunch
- That Aggie-owned restaurant for chicken fried steak dinner

Nope. He was one of my dads fish. It's been years at this point because he passed away before my dad and my dad passed away January 2024.
