Family was planning a big trip over Christmas but had to change it because of some personal reasons. Any ideas for a 4 night trip from December 19-December 23? We've done NYC at Christmas. So open to like a Caribbean type something or a ski type something. Really pretty open. Biggest constraint is not wanting super long travel from Houston since it's a tight window. Budget for two adults and four kids is $10-15k total. Thanks for any ideas!

Some options:

Galveston Royal Caribbean Cruise (if dates are flexible, 12/18-12/22) - connecting cabins are available.

You can do all-inclusive resorts in Cancun/Playa Mujeres/Riviera Maya area within that price point (will vary based on ages of kiddos).

Feel free to message me if you would like assistance, my email is in my profile.

I always like to make a plug for visiting Yellowstone in the winter. The park is covered in snow, it is the best time to see lots of wildlife, and crowds are low. You could also hit Big Sky if y'all wanted to get in some skiing. Direct flights are available from Houston to Bozeman.

Another place I like visiting is Branson at Christmas, but that is a long drive each way to basically only get 2 days there. So I would wait until you had more time.

There are some amazing family-friendly resorts just a quick 2-hour flight from Houston in the Riviera Maya or Los Cabos for all-inclusive fun, or even Beaver Creek if you're leaning ski. We spent last Christmas there with our family and loved it. Have you thought about Costa Rica?

Feel free to message me my contact's in my bio. I'd love to help you find the perfect fit for your crew.
