Howdy Ags! Want to book a nice little beach vacation for two families with older teenagers. Looking for recommendations on locations.

Need a pool and lots of good sand/clear water. Guys will likely go offshore fishing one day.

We've stayed in a house in this location in Port A a couple times with another family and it was great. Could walk right down to the beach (or drive to the next beach entrance and drive around to the backside of the place).

It has a pool that we would usually get in at night. Bunch of different homes. I think we booked Air BnB.

A lot of folks on here like Cinnamon Shore. Palmilla is another good one as well.

I stay at Cinnamon Shore at least once a year and love it. It's pricy but worth it if you like the amenities they have on site.

We like staying at the Sandpiper. It's a little further out so you don't get the crowded beach as much as in town. Nice pool and my boys love it.

We stayed at a house behind the dollar general. Great house with a pool. It was a little off the beach, but is in the 'golf cart zone'.

Sandpiper is always a great option as well.

If you're interested in sight casting the flats vs offshore I'm a plastics/fly fishing guide and can launch off the sand ramp across the highway from Sandpiper (or from the Port A ramp). Just something to think about if you and your boys want to hunt some fish in skinny water.

if looking to stay in the bay for fishing rather than full offshore
