I stayed at the Relais Christine - www.relaischateaux.com - on the Left Bank in July 2022. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a fabulous breakfast each morning. The rooms - we had two - were like little jewel boxes. Soooo beautiful and quintessentially French!

I was there with my daughter and one of her friends when the girls were 17. We did all of the normal tourist-y things as it was the girls' first time in Paris. They loved the Louvre - particularly the apartments. Really liked Sainte Chapelle as well, riverboat tour, day trip to Versailles. I was on a mission to have the girls learn how to use public transportation, so one afternoon they looked up a list of the best macarons in Paris, then navigated us to probably 15 different stops by foot, Metro, etc. An unexpected highlight that I mentioned on another recent Paris thread was a food tour of Montmartre. We used Secret Food Tours and were very pleased, though there are many companies to choose from.

Have so much fun!

Sounds like Brooke knows her stuff. But here's my priorities after a few visits:
1. Musee D'Orsay (museum of impressionism in an old train station)
2. Day trip and tour of Versailles, including grounds
3. Picnic and hanging out in the park below Eiffel Tower, enjoying the views of it, people watching.
4. Plenty of time to try various crepes from stalls in the streets or cafes.
5. Window shopping up and down the Champs Elysees
6. Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral sounds very promising.
