Noble smoke is pretty darn good, for a Carolina joint. I was impressed the first time I had it, they actually do a decent brisket.

Actually moving to Charlotte in May. Have traveled there quite a bit the last 4-5 years. Not sure what area you will be staying, but Ever Andalo is a really good Italian restaurant located in NoDa (North Davidson).
