Stay at the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in the old town. Has a great old world feel and tons of great restaurants and rooftop bars within walking distance.

Did you end up going? How was the weather that time of year?
I did, it was a great time. It was hot and humid, but I would def recommend it.

I was there about 10 days. If it ever rained, it was just a quick shower.
