It's finally time for a fun trip!!! Fly to Seattle on Saturday, bus to Vancouver on Sunday morning for an Alaskan cruise on Holland America.

Got a great set up thanks to JMac!

Of course, before the weekend hits I have an overnighter to McAllen for work. Booo!!!

In Sydney on the way to Darwin to do the Kimberly's then down to Perth to check old hangouts. Head to Melbourne for wine tours next. Nice to enjoy cool weather.

We went to New Braunfels this past weekend. Only posting here to recommend the cabins we stayed in.

The property is called Fernweh. We stayed in the 3 bedroom, and it was great! Newly renovated, clean, and very spacious. Owners were super great, too. Highly recommend!

Was across the ditch in Christchurch for a photography conference last weekend. Heading to Honolulu for a wedding next weekend then to Tokyo for a week for work before heading back home to Sydney.

Like Spore said, it's just perfect weather here right now, cool and crisp in the mornings with great beach weather in the afternoon.

Lake Tahoe in a couple weeks for some cooler weather and some hiking (hopefully no wildfires).....may squeeze in a side trip to yosemite.

Flying into Tampa for some beach time in early september...not sure what beach yet....hopefully the hurricanes stay away.

Heading to new england at the end of september for business and pleasure.... hopefully catch some fall colors.

We did RC cruise VAN to ANC earlier in the summer. Overnight flight back was no bueno.

Just back from 18 days in France/Italy. From Paris, Florence, the Amalfi Coast and finishing in Rome. Europe can absolutely be done with kids as my girls 9 and 10 were troopers!

I booked 5 nights at Secrets Impressions Moxche for early November with World of Hyatt points. I'm hoping to dive a couple days in cozumel while we're there.

I could not agree with this more. We also never know how our health will be in the future. I have had so many conversations with retired people in my travels and so many times they tell me I wish I did this when I was younger. I know no vacation is perfect and there will be hiccups and that's ok to

Just back from fishing in Alaska. First time and it was beautiful. Seward was really something to see. Will be back with the kids at some point.

Dove hunting is booked for September first.

The Norwegian Star goes from Reykjavik to Oslo with stops in Greenland. We are flying to Munich for a few days, and then to Reykjavik for the cruise.

Tell me more about your connection to Perth? Lived there and in Bunbury for 5 years in late 80s/early 90s.

Oh man I haven't heard that name in years, we were on it in 1997 out of the Houston Ship Channel when the AC went out in the middle of the Caribbean.

Just booked IAH -> SJO -> EWR -> IAH for the Fri before Thanksgiving to the Saturday after. pre-Thanksgiving in Costa Rica before a quick trip to visit family.

That was an expensive itinerary. But all of our accommodations are free, so that's the justification.

Just got back from a 4 day/3 night in Boston. First time there, Fenway didn't disappoint. Hoping my wife's passport renewal gets here in time for us to book a last minute trip to LeBlanc Cabo before our certificate expires in October. Might need to call and see if it can be extended.

Going to Maine the weekend before Labor Day. We're staying in Portland, but will probably do a side trip to either Ogunquit or Kennebunkport. We're saving Acadia/Bar Harbor for the next visit.

Also looking to schedule a weekender to Pittsburgh to catch a baseball game (among other things).
