Taking the kids to schlitterbahn and looking for some other options of things to do in New Braunfels. It's been years since I have been there. Will have 4,8, and 12 year olds.

You didn't say you need a recommendation for a place to stay, but we are at Fernweh cabins and they are so nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations.

I grew up in NB, they would probably like Natural Bridge Caverns and the wildlife ranch. Landa Park has the train, mini golf and paddleboats although Landa kind of turns into a s-hole during the summer with all of the tourists in town. 30+ years ago hanging out on the Comal was an option when it was mostly families but I would not recommend it anymore.

FIMFO - I believe you can get day passes - the alpine coaster is the only one in TX and looks very cool.

how can any list of NB places not include Pat's, Naeglin's, or Krause's?

We spent many hours as kids and with our own kids feeding ducks and fishing with bread at Landa Park. There's always the Snake Farm also.
