Other people can chime in about food and wine. If your wife is a flower buff, she would enjoy Wildseed Farms. A 200 acre wild flower farm and vineyard.

My wife is a Texas Master Gardener and that place is Nirvana-like to her.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Yes in Wild Seed. Have to be a member to visit Grape Creek. We usually hit Altstadt Brewery for music, food and beer. They have wine also.

They also serve beer in their steam tractor building. Cool stuff. Hill and Vine had music last time I was there. Might contact them first.

Bit off the beaten path but Adega Vinho out in Stonewall is one of my favorite spots.

Great wine and a really nice cool place to relax and drink.
