We have a spare day in Lexington, and looking for something to do.

We are doing some bourbon tours already and going to Louisville Wednesday. Going to 1 horse farm Monday, but Tuesday is open.

Suggestions ?

Also, any recommendations one places to eat?

Was there for a quick in and out so no recommendations on sites but had dinner at Tony's of Lexington downtown and it was excellent. Steak, chops, fish.

Just spent the day there. Stop by Buffalo Trace to grab one of their harder to find whiskeys. They rotate daily between Blanton, Eagle Rare, E.H Taylor and Weller. The tour/tasting are free, but not that great. Have dinner at Carson's. It was excellent. Walk/visit UKs campus.

For a dirt cheap, no-frills breakfast, go the Keeneland Track Kitchen. Wife and I ate for $11 all-in. A bit like if you combined a Denny's and a school cafeteria. Lots of old-timer locals here.

Plus, it's located at the rear of the entire race track area, so you get to see all that the grounds have to offer. Not a bad drive getting there either.

Planning to eat breakfast there tomorrow.

Any places to visit that kids would enjoy?
