My wife was supposed to take United direct from FLL to IAH this afternoon. Weather delayed that flight multiple times.

She got rebooked through Cleveland. Again, delays. Then through CLE and then Dulles and then to IAH.

After a while, they just canceled everything. No sub 1500 flights that will get her back tomorrow before the evening.

That's for all airlines.

Ended up getting her a hotel for tonight, then rented a car from FLL or Orlando where she will catch a direct flight from there to IAH arriving at 3:00.

That weather is brutal down there. Flooded highways and streets where nobody could get to or from the airport.

Yup. Big storms. Sucks.

And that's why I can't get ahold of AA. Hope it starts clearing out today. Saw on the news shortly ago the flooding is really bad.

When all the United flights canceled yesterday, the gate agents essentially threw up their hands and directed people to their airline app or phone agent. Neither were responding due to the traffic.

I ended up booking everything from my laptop at home. My wife is currently driving to Orlando. Fortunately, no rain. There were no available flights out of FLL or Miami for today.

The videos I saw of Miami weather yesterday were bonkers. Good luck.

Hopefully you got it taken care of, but today there is a $900 seat on JSX from Miami to Dallas, where she could then take a cheap flight to Houston or take Von Lane. Definitely a ****ty travel situation.

To be fair, I'm not sure if they were able to fly out of Miami yesterday either.

Commercial flights were booked. I checked there before Orlando.
