Going to a work conference. Fly in Wednesday afternoon fly out Friday morning. Would go exploring Wednesday evening and all day Thursday. Plan to visit La Jolla. Would mind checking out hotel del Coronado.

I'm staying near the zoo and sea world.

I feel like I would explore more if I had a car. My other option is to Uber.

Rent car helps. Was there last week and took the train along the coast. Was quite cool at night so bring a hoodie. Downtown to Encinitas was 13$ return.

Visit Cabrillo National Monument, spectacular views of San Diego and San Diego Bay.

You'll want the car. And parking isn't bad. La Jolla can get busy, but I've found parking easy enough the several times I've been.
