My wife's passport expires in November. Any idea if we can travel to Mexico mid June? It will probably be just under six months before expiration. :-(

I guess this is ignorance, but if it's still good, why would it matter?
some countries require 6 months of validity on passport or they'll deny entry. EU does this. Airline is basically doing you a service by denying boarding so you don't get denied entry at EU airport and put on the next flight home.AgLA06 said:

Did those of you who recently renewed your passport receive your old one back by mail? I want it back as a keepsake but have heard stories from friends who didn't get theirs back, but that was ten years ago.
For Singapore, you have to have six months validity AFTER your departure date from Singapore.harringtontravelco said:
Each country has different expiration requirements in place. Some like Mexico if it is not expired upon arrival you are good other countries have within 6 months of expiration can not travel to. Hope that helps
Mexico, or somewhere further?supermanrv said:
We just flew and did this, and our child had less than 6 months left on her passport. Last minute flight, so we didn't even realize it until the night before the trip, but we went and no problem. But it was super stressful going to the airport worried that they would deny us.
