Have three kids 5-10. Looking for a fun place to take the kids that have kids clubs etc. thanks!

Most recently, I've been booking Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun and Dreams Playa Mujeres the most for families with kids of all ages.

Honestly though, there are so many great options at many different price points for a great all-inclusive vacation in Mexico.

I'd highly recommend Finest Playa Mujeres. Their family suites which has a separate room for kids is perfect for your situation. Also it is protected by Isla Mujeres so you don't have to worry about massive waves or sargassum.

Paradisus in Playa is good - it's not an American hotel

Hard Rock is good too! Both have kids clubs and water park areas for kids.

I find if you can get to $75/per person, per day - not a bad price for all inclusive, if going in summertime.

Your kids need to pick okra and cantaloupes. That's the learning experience they need!

Any resort can have it, as that's just mother nature. There are places that are less likely to have it such as the Cancun hotels zone and areas like Playa Mujeres. But it's never fail safe.

There are a lot of great all inclusive options for families with great kids club. As a travel advisor one my measures of a resort as a travel advisor is how my 8 and 9 year old love the kids club.

We're booked for royalton splash Cancun for fall break/October. 3 families with 2 kids each ages 8 to about 12.
We all got swim out, so hopefully get them all connected.

Can't report back until then! But it's $3200 for 6 nights, again, swim out. The base room was several hundred less.

Plus it's a marriott, so with chase visa which gets 17x points at marriott, that $3k bill nets nearly 55k points. That gets us 2 off season nights at the gaylord (30k ea) which we do yearly. That's $800 right there back in our pocket.

Our kids liked Paradisus Playa; the beach is eh but we walked down it to a little local cenote. Trying Royalton Splash this summer.

Good beach is a must. Thinking Majures or the Hotel Zone. We
Stayed in Secrets playa Majures which I think is next to Dreams. That looked like it had quite a bit of kids stuff.

Hyatt Zilara was amazing but obviously no kids. Beach was spectacular

Hyatt Ziva Cancun is great for the kids and families. Not too far from Zilara. And yes, Dreams Playa Mujeres is also one of my top sellers. Tons to do for kids (like Ziva).

Barcelo Maya Beach is an all-inclusive resort that has lots of things for kids. I think there are 3 different Barcelo properties in that area, but at least 1 is adults-only. There's a reef that is right on the crescent-shaped beach. We've seen sea turtles, a barracuda, and lots of other cool fish just snorkeling on the reef there. We took our teenage kids years ago and they loved it. Lots of good suggestions on here though.

I think it should be noted that royalton splash is an entirely different level of kid activities.

There is a literal water park, with water slides that rival a great wolf lodge type of place; 10 slides, two lazy rivers, spray grounds, and splash pads.
Plus an indoor trampoline park, bowing, laser tag, surf rider, etc.

All in addition to your typical kids club.

I was just going to ask this, but what do kids, lets say ages 8-10 do at one of these resorts for a few days? And how is the eating situation is packed and kids running around like Disney or more like kids following their parents around?

Some parents let their ******* kids run around. Generally, this is in the buffet area. For the most part, it doesn't bother me, except for when the kids like put **** on their plate and put it back, that kind of stuff.

I don't let my kids just run around wherever they want. Like if they wanted to go to the waterpark, I would let them play within the waterpark but I was always seated inside the waterpark. Now at 14 I would still even struggle for them to completely go off on their own (even in pairs).

my kids are 8/9; obviously they are all different. Living in CO, my kids enjoy a few hours at the beach each day since we don't get that often.

And as a family we try and get as much pool time in as possible, so that's another few hours.

Kids clubs have been hit or miss, they loved the one at Hilton Cabo, it was all included, and they had free play in addition to scheduled activities.

The one at Westin lagunamar cancun was al carte pricing, and you basically see the schedule outside and decide what they would want to do. There was no just drop off free play; it was pay for this and they'll do it, then pick them up.

Obviously at royalton splash, there will be more than enough to do, which will likely include adults as well for that water park and bowling/laser tag, especially since we're going with 2 neighbor families so we all see each other almost daily as it is.

How's the food quality?

We did the Royalton Splash and had a good time for short trip last year.
