Howdy! Our family is taking a cruise this Spring. Our only stop is Cozumel. Mix of adults and kids. We have done a couple of snorkeling trips with our kids and it is always the highlight of the trip.

Any recommendations for a good company to look at that is close to the cruise port that we can get to relatively easy and spend 4-6 hours snorkeling the reefs? Had some friends suggest Chichi Charters, but they are not available that day.

Thanks!

We just got back. Had our group of 8 scheduled tor an excursion at Paradise Beach, When we got to the port, they said it was canceled due to high winds. (would have taken a Catamaran), so we opted for a non-Carnival excursion to the Cozumel National Park. Took a van. It was about a 30 min drive from the port. Very calm waters here its in a cove, so no waves. We rented some snorkel gear. Saw a stingray, starfish, and lots of fish. Not really are coral where we were though. It was fun and not crowed at all.

We have used Chichi Charters in the past. Can book a private excursion that hits 7-8 locations before stopping off of Playa El Cielo to hang out on the sandbar with the rays while the crew makes fresh guac and ceviche, family enjoyed it.

ETA: NM, just reread your post after posting this so forget Chichi.

It was actual Passion Island, not Paradise. . It was supposed to be a private beach excursion with our own personal chef and bar tender. But they had to cancel due to high winds.
