My daughter will be attending A&M in the Fall. We are beyond thrilled!! Any recommendations for places to stay in Port A for last spring break together for 10 people. Also trying to plan a senior trip with 8 girls and Moms…any recommendations on fun/safe places for 18 yr old girls and 50 ish yr old Moms??
Thanks!

Congratulations on the A&M acceptance.

This definitely sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I've observed such trips in Las Vegas. Usually folks from someplace like Bakersfield or Burbank.

Closest I can come to that experience is with my oldest. The mothers and daughters went out clubbing in Sydney after a Private Girl's School Awards Dinner.

They took a party bus into the city after the formal dinner and there were stories about one of the mothers getting her kit off and flashing her boobs out the window of the bus.

Glad those days are behind us. But, they were lots of fun.

My parents always stay at the Sea Gull condomeniums south of Port A. I've stayed there, too. It's farther out so the beach is a lot more private. The resort is high rise condos, so other than room, there's a pool, maybe some tennis courts. The rooms all have wonderful beach views. Prices are decent. I've been a few of the trips with them. I've always had good luck. A couple of times they've been a little disappointed with the units they've had, but nothing terrible. Overall, pretty reliable, good location (access to both Port A and Corpus) good beach access, low crowds.
