We have a trip planned for a week in Los Suenos March 9-16 and I'm starting to look at flights. HOLY SHEET!!!

Any of you travel guides or jet setters have any insight on flying private? Travelers include Me, wife and 2 year old, Brother and sister in law and their two kids ages 12 and 16.

I'm not seeing any direct flights at all and after last weeks JFK fiasco, the wife and kiddo will not want anything to do with another 17 hour travel day...

Where are you flying from? And if you are just now booking flights for spring break you are going to have to pay up.

We'll probably fly out of Houston and I seem to remember someone saying that about Spring Break. Just wondering if its more cost effective to charter with that many of us.

Charter will be $15-20k per hour each way ?

What are the costs you are seeing?

At first glance, I was seeing 2,500+ but on further review, I see some for 1,200 which I'm fine with. A bit surprised at that much for a charter though!

March 13-16 is also Leg 3 of the major bill fishing tournament in Los Suenos.
