Kicking the tires on going to Patagonia in early 2025. We are outdoor centric and have focused on at least spending some time on the W-circuit in Torres del Paine. What other places should we consider if we have 2 weeks and want do some hiking, see mountains, waterfalls, etc? Any specific resorts or places to stay? Itineraries would also be helpful if anyone has been.

El Chalten and Calafate if you want more day hiking and glaciar
Bariloche if you want a bit more upscale, or if you want fishing

I'd looking into Punta Arenas and Ushuaia too.

el chalten has incredible hiking trails, but just know that it is a tiny town. not much to do except hike, and enjoy the beauty and calm.

ushuaia is also incredible. taking a day trip through the beagle channel is awesome and you see tons of marine wildlife.

calafate is nice too, definitely a larger town with a wider selection of things to do (glacier hikes, 4x4 treks, restaurants, etc).

calafate and chalten are a trip to do together, since they are very close to each other. ushuaia would be a dedicated trip of its own i think.
