Heading to NOLA with a 15+ size group this spring and need some good recommendations for places to eat and things to do throughout the day. We'll definitely go to Bourbon and probably the casino at some point, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone has any other recommendations.

Eat here at some point - Jacques Imo's

While day drinking in the quarter I always enjoy stopping in at the Cigar Factory on Decatur and picking up some cigars and taking some time to watch them roll there at the store.

We've also done a French Quarter walking ghost tour that was fun. IIRC it leaves and ends at Jean Lafitte's and 2 drinks are included so it's a nice change from just bar hopping.

take a cooking class
take a haunted ghost or true crime tour (private for that many people)
go on a classic cocktail tour (make up your own or do a tour)
ride st charles street car to the end and back - walk around st charles and magazine street to shop/eat/drink
stay off bourbon as much as possible
hit up frenchman street for evening jazz music

WWII Museum. Budget a full day.

I always recommend Beachbum Berry's Latitude 29 bar, but I'm a tiki cocktail addict. If you love tiki, you know who Beachbum Berry is. Reservations required.

Snake and jake's Christmas Club Lounge - It is basically someone's garage. The divy'est of dive bars.

Second the WW2 museum. And agree with other poster it is 4hr+ to basically run through it. One of the coolest museums I've been to in the US.
