Looking at heading to Cancun for a few days in December. Secrets the Vine seems highly rated and has some good options. Has anyone ever been? Is it worth staying there? Do I need to get the Preferred Club if I pull the trigger?

I've had a handful of clients stay there a few years back, pre-pandemic.
It is located in the hotel zone and is considered a high-rise resort.
Smaller than most of the Secrets resorts and they all felt like it catered towards a younger clientele as there was music/dj most nights, late into the night and had some themed parties.
Not to say that any age couldn't hang with that, just that they weren't super into that.
Beach is beautiful but smaller in area and the food was just okay.

I wouldn't hesitate to book it for the right client and if they really wanted it or good deal.

I booked it for clients this week for January. I toured it back in 2019 I think, so it's been awhile. Generally it isn't as highly rated as the other Secrets, but it's on a beautiful beach (waves can be rough). It's a high rise. Located in an area where it's easy to walk off property to nearby restaurants and shops.

Preferred club gets you access to the rooftop pool and other amenities. If it's not a lot more I definitely think it would be worth it. I remember it having a pretty cool spa as well.
