We have one night in Seattle in a few weeks. Any recommendations for a hotel or restaurant? Budget is not important, just want to hear any thoughts. Thanks!

Why 1 night? Layover before going elsewhere?

I've got 2 suggestions based on what you're wanting…. Stay near Pike's market. Lots of nice hotels right there, walkable.

Near airport? Cedarbrooke Lodge. Used to be a company built HQ convention center (think nice corporate retreat). Now it's a hotel. Very serene and unique spot that is literally across the street from the airport.

Edgewater is the unique idea. There's plenty of JWs, etc. that are nice, but same-same.

Edgewater was built before the pier zoning so one of a kind. And they have all the fun rock-and-roll lore.

Second Cedarbrook. We've stayed there for single nights when we've had 6am flights out of SeaTac. Extremely convenient to get to/from airport, actually feels like you're surrounded by forest rather than in the dumpster fire of Seattle, and has amazing amenities. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it from a peace of mind and comfort standpoint.

This exactly. Kinda wild how you feel like you're in some super exclusive corporate retreat tucked away in Montana but once you find out that's what it was built for.. it makes sense.

IIRC, it was like $350/night in the middle of the week. Nothing crazy.

Thanks for the replies. Edgewater is the winner. It was our first choice but wanted to this groups thoughts as well. Seems unique as mentioned above. We'll be hiking all other days so want to balance that out.
