Any advice on the best cruise/ all-inclusive resort for a family of four with a tween and teen in the Gulf/Caribbean area? Domestic is fine--because we need to renew our passports. Looking at the Thanksgiving break. Thanks!

There aren't really all-inclusive options in the US. Other than Florida it will be coolish and not quite ideal beach weather.

Without passports, you could still do a cruise if it's closed ended (in and out of the same port). That may be your best option. I'm not a big cruiser, but we're doing one in January with my 6 & 9 year old and parents going to Mexico and Roatan.

If you want to get passports and go international look at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Tons of family friendly resorts. Get passports ASAP if you choose this option.

If you don't have active passports now- don't count on having them in Nov!!

Without passports, cruise is going to be your best option for the "all-inclusive" type vacation. Don't really have AI in the states because it doesn't make financial sense for the resorts. Mexico lags their employees like $5/day.

There are tons of threads on passport timelines, I think it is very possible to get one by November.

As as passports, I got mine around 8 weeks and daughters 101 weeks (didn't pay super close attention). These were expedited.
