Anyone stayed there recently? My wife has suddenly expressed some interest in Cabo. We've never been. Looking for an AI for four nights.

Quick google online last night appears it, along with the Secrets, and Marquis are the three in our price range. Pueblo Bonito has Quivara so that does interest me.

Curious how Pueblo and the others compare food, service, etc vs AI's in Cancun?

I've not had clients stay at the Pueblito chain but I've quoted it. From what I understand its mostly a regular resort with an all-inclusive component. I think you still have to sign a bill at the end of every meal, even though its free (not sure if you add tip).

The Secrets is rated a little worse than some of the others. I would stay there without issues. I've just heard some complain of the layout, etc. Marquis will be a good option, but it will be pretty darn quiet from what I've been told. I've had several couples stay there and never had any complaints.

I have done P.B. 3 times now, and Le Blanc once. Le Blanc was OK but I feel didn't live up to the hype. I am a golfer so Quivira certainly factors into my draw, but for quality and variety of food, Pueblo bonito is dang hard to beat. Gorgeous grounds, super attentive staff, and quality food/drinks/setting.

Went for a wedding five years ago and it was great. It is in the mix of things if you are looking to stay close to downtown. Over the years I have preferred to stay further away from downtown and maybe just go in for one big night.

do you stay at the towers, or the normal PB part? Reading online it seams that dining options are limited? Maybe only 3 restaurants there? Have you ran into that problem?

We stayed at Pacifica about 8 years ago. It was fantastic and adult only. Highly recommend.

We have done the adults only Pacifica Towers twice, and once rented a Montecristo condo. All options have their share of dining options, but you will want to shuttle to the "market," where it's an open concept cafeteria with roughly 5-6 dining options and another 2-3 dessert options. Also, you'll want to shuttle one night to the Quivira steakhouse (also serves as the golf course pro shop) which is on the beach with phenomenal views right by where they are building I believe a St.Regis or the Ritz. (Slight upcharge on this restaurant)

You can't go wrong with Pueblo Bonito. I've stayed at Sunset, Pacifica, Rose, Blanco (Los Cabos) and rented a villa in Monte Cristo. All have really good dining. Pacifica is best for a couple-s retreat as no kids allowed. And you must play Quivera if you can. Unbelievable. I go to Cabo often (just got back yesterday in fact).
