Will be there Mon-Thurs for work. Any must-do activities while I'm there? Will be staying downtown at the LondonHouse right off the river.

TIA

When in Chicago and particularly at Wrigley, though you may want to sample the local Old Style beer, refrain yourself. Quit possibly one of the most disgusting beers ever brewed except maybe Coors Banquet.

But as others have suggested, the Architectural tour is a must. Depending on time, the Art Institute, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and the Science & Technology museum are all top notch.

Skip the Mag Mile unless you enjoy looking at Chicago PD and boarded up stores.

Careful as you go. The city is different. Let me mention Blue Man Group. Permanent home in Chicago

I'm going this next weekend (last minute event came up)and only have roughly a day (of daylight) to check out the city for the first time. I want to see Wrigley, if only from the outside. It's going to be in the low 40s, so I'm guessing that cruise is out. Any suggestions?

I should add, I have no idea what area to stay for my 2 nights, what part of downtown I guess (I haven't booked yet, good news is rates are low, no business travelers I assume).

The architecture cruise will be available. Check out Christkindlmarket too. There is a location next to Wrigley.
