Any recommendations on places to eat in Oklahoma City? Going up for a comedy show this weekend and looking for places to go. Thanks!

Check out Cheevers, Packard, or Jones Assembly. I'm there about once a quarter and these are my favorites.

I'm sure I'll catch hell for this, but I actually like the food at Toby Keith's restaurant. I eat lunch there almost every time I am in OKC.

I'll add Paseo Grill for food and Fassler Hall for beer and other drinks.

Joey's Pizza in Film Row west of downtown is absolutely my favorite pizza anywhere. We lived in OKC from 2009 to 2017, kinda the renaissance years of the city's revival. Even more stuff has opened since we left. Where are you staying?

Staying at the renaissance in Bricktown tonight and tomorrow night. Appreciate the pizza suggestion! Trying a ramen place tonight

Take the streetcar over to Midtown as well, lots of great restaurants and bars up there too. I miss OKC sometimes.

If you're a baseball fan and have the time, catch an OKC Dodgers game. Easy to get to since you're staying in Bricktown.

Try Pearl's Crabtown. Good cajun style seafood.

Bedlam BBQ is fun... has that "hole in the wall" place and it celebrates the OSU/OU rivalry. Has a fun outdoor patio. The food was very good.

Edge Craft BBQ near downtown is fairly new but a good spot. If you are willing to drive just a bit. Butcher Stand BBQ in Wellston off of the turnpike is the best BBQ I've had around OKC. I would put their burnt ends up against anyone's. They are only open Fri-Sun from 11am to sell out. They will have a line but you don't need to get there any earlier before 10 and you should be able to stand inside with the AC. They also have local beers on draft you can purchase while you wait for them to start serving.
