Staying on the river at a campground for a float/golf weekend with some buddies.

Looking for dinner recs on Friday and Saturday night.

Friday we're playing 36 holes at Canyon Springs and then Vaaler Creek in Blanco. So anything good in Blanco to Sattler (horseshoe bend) would be great.

Saturday we're floating and then doing a concert at white water ampitheatre. Something right around Sattler would be ideal to keep it close.

Nothing high scale needed but good locations, drinks, food... brew pub, etc. would all be appropriate.

Brewpubs? I'm guessing you've never been to Sattler. There's not much to it.

There are a few in Blanco. A few spots I see in Sattler. Could drive down to New Braunfels.

Try Krauses in NB. That would be good for a guys trip dinner

Vaaler Creek is one of my favorite golf courses. We've played several times and stayed in Blanco. Get a jalapeño dog at the turn, for sure!

If you have a sous vide, pre-order a cooked brisket and stuff from Franklins in Austin and pick it up on your way.

I think it's 4th street market in Blanco that's a good butcher shop too. Can get some steaks on your way back through town.

Real ale is a good little place for beers afterwards for post round BS'ing.

I completely spaced and forgot that. I guess there is Italian Garden on that side, but I don't think that one really qualifies.

Gennaros is really good but I wouldn't think it would be great for a guys trip.
