IAH TSA Lines - which is shortest?

Checked in at terminal C this morning and all of the TSA lines were insanely long, including PreCheck and Clear. I ended up taking the train to terminal D where the line was ~20 minutes.

Is terminal D typically the shortest TSA line when C is insane or should I have tried A or B instead?

I wonder if C is overwhelmed due to the construction at E. I've done either A or B before (can't remember) and it was
super short. I've heard people say recently the regular line was shorter than TSA line in C.

Go through B and take the tram over to C. We did it 3 weeks ago and insane how much faster it was. Virtually no line at B.

I think 2-3 years total. We are already at a year in cause we had it big time when we came back from Mexico last June.

Don't want to jinx anything, but the last 10 times I've flown out of IAH there has been literally no one in TSA line in Terminal B. No one. What's up with that? There are a ton of gates in B, I guess most of the flights are for people connecting through? Doesn't matter what time of day, empty line.

Checked in at C on the 3rd (international, so no B), which should have been a nightmare, but it wasn't that bad. It looks like a total CF when you get inside, but if you can wade through the mouth-breathers standing around trying to figure out what an airplane is you will be fine.
