Heading back to Cabo in a few weeks, and one thing we've never done there is visit Todos Santos. We're considering renting a car and driving. I also think we could hire a driver for the same price as any other excursion and it might be worth it.

Has anyone done a Todos Santos day trip? Any pro tips?

We have driven to Todos Santos with no issues, beautiful drive. It's a fairly long day trip though, so if it's possible, I'd suggest staying a night.

Just look out for the Policia Federale. This fake cut out gave me a minor heart attack lol

We took 2 or 3 days making this trip from San Jose del Cabo. Stayed a night in La Paz, then off to Todos and back to SJD.

Pretty drive through the desert and along the coast. Had no issues.

Thanks! Good to know there were no issues on the drive. Maybe we'll just rent a car. Would be cheaper!

Btw, if the time isn't an issue, Playa Balandra near La Paz is way cooler than Todos Santos.
