What kind of group? Family? Guys trip? We enjoy Shreveport for playing cards. Wouldnt call it an ideal family destination though.

I'd suggest the downtown Hilton or Horseshoe. If you don't want to be near downtown, then I'd recommend the Holiday Inn Express at 8751 Park Plaza Dr, behind the Mercedes dealership. That's a good part of town. Lots of decent options for food nearby. Best bet is Frank's on Fern Ave.
