Going to Colorado Springs later this month. Any recommendations on where to stay, places to eat, things to do? TIA

Family of five. Last year we stayed in a house in Green Mountain Falls. We ate at the Golden Bee at the Broadmoor and stayed for the singalong. The zoo is very good. Drove to Canon City for whitewater rafting with a great drive through Woodland Park. And we hiked to the Krags, which was a great hike.

We just got back from the Broadmoor. We didn't really go offsite much, play golf there and ate dinner there every night.

Hopefully it will stop raining by then. We have had rain at our house near the broadmoor for 20 straight days and it is predicted every day this week. I have never seen Colorado so green, it looks like East TN with bigger mountains.

If the broadmoor is too pricey you can also stay at Cheyenne Mountain resort. It is a little dated but Biden stayed there last week (so it can't be too bad) and it has an incredible aquatic center and good golf. We have a bunch of people playing golf there in 3 weeks for my birthday.
