We're going to a festival in Sept and all but the very high end hotels are booked close by.

Are their any aps that will scan the hotels you want if rooms become available?

I found another one by googling this. It had another hotel and for $10 1x fee would check 40xs per day.

Hopefully we'll get the closer hotel!

awesome app! it is weird i never heard of it before.
I usually check all the hotels in the area i want to go, read couple of their reviews (here is the example) and after call directly to the reception. First of all this way you will know for sure if the hotel is available or no, second- there is a chance to get better price than through some other services.
