Have a group of about 8 guys in mid 30s heading there later this month. Looking for something slightly more on upscale side (not a dive beach bar) for a dinner. Looking at google reviews I have seen Blue Heaven, Smokin Tuna, and Conch Republic.

Does anyone have experience with those or recommend another option? option to make a Reservation would be preferred.
Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time was at Latitudes. You definitely have to have reservations, and you have to ferry to it. It's really more of a romantic place, but maybe I just think of it that way since it was just me and my wife there.

The Russian Mafia runs a group of restaurants about mid-way down Duval St. in a block called Duval Square. They have several different options and all are good. (That is, if you don't mind a blond adonis waitstaff that speaks with a heavy accent. )

Check out Firefly. It's real close to Blue Heaven if you're already eyeing that place.

Two Friends is a good breakfast spot.

El Meson de Pepe is a good Cuban spot but the chickens will be thick on the patio.

Smokin Tuna is great for day drinking and music but it is bar food.

Conch Republic, to me, feels like a slightly more upscale Red Lobster.

Just got back. We had dinner one night at Louies Backyard and had some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever had.

Relaxed setting on the coast that's still white table cloth. Decent prices, but everyone loved their meal.

One other thing to note, I was there with my prettier half but there were groups of hot single chicks all over. Enough for our table to comment. Could ha e been a fluke.
