Trying to plan 15 year anniversary trip for July.

I'm Globalist with Hyatt so looking into their all-inclusive properties.

-beautiful property / water (fresh and clean)
-great food with variety
-direct travel from Houston

Any reccs? We've never been to all-inclusive.

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana
Hyatt Ziva Cancun in the adults only section. (Turquoize)

Hyatt Zilara Cancun is nice but the two above are better.

Remember that Hyatt's all inclusive resort offerings have expanded to now include Zoetry, Secrets, Breathless, etc. I stayed at the Secrets Moxche last November. It was very nice and the crowd was a mix of couples, small groups of couplies and a couple larger groups of friends. The resort felt very relaxed with nice pools, good food and generally good bar service.

They have recently opened another part of the resort called Secrets Impressions Moxche which is supposed to be a higher level of service. While there aren't a ton of rooms in the new section that may change the business level. The water didn't seem overly enticing but the sandy area between the resort and the water was nice, populated with lots of palm trees and lots of big lounge chairs.

All inclusives are not really my thing but this was a nice place for a Mexican beach vacation. Though it didn't feel overly "mexican". It seemed more California chic. I just made that term up so I'm not even sure what it means other than to say, you'd know it if you saw it.

Great call! I keep forgetting this (and I shouldn't, because AMResorts are a huge chunk of my business).

Secrets Maroma - the best beach (but it is sargassum season).
Secrets Moxche that Greener mentioned - Great resort, not a great beach. I had a destination wedding of about 20 rooms here in the fall last year and they loved it.
Secrets Cap Cana - Great beach, food and service.

Soon to be Secrets Tulum (resort isn't on a beach but there is a shuttle), and Secrets in Isla Mujeres.

There are several other good ones too, but these are

Headed to Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in July myself. I believe this was one they built from the ground up a few years ago and not a remodel of an older place so it's still new. Gets very good reviews on everything. Think it's about 21,000 Hyatt points per night in July.

May not be what you are thinking but Ventana Big Sur is an unbeatable redemption if you are able to get it. Food is legit Michelin quality good - Zivas and Zilaras aren't even in the same league. Not a traditional all inclusive as alcohol is extra but so worth it. Beautiful setting within the redwood forests with coastline views and numerous beaches nearby.

I'm in the same boat and did secrets los cabos last year. It was pretty good, not to the level of Le Blanc, but we stayed in the preferred club building and had access to the preferred pool.

I'd stay away from cancun, the sargassum was horrible when we went a couple years ago.

That Secrets seems to be on the lower end of the Secrets chain. I rarely quote it and many travel agents don't care for it.

The standard rooms are probably not great, there are multiple buildings and it's a crap shoot where you get and some are pretty far from the water.

I would put the preferred rooms above Zilara cancun, the food was also better. We went to zilara a couple times before hyatt bought it and then in 2021.

If you're open to having a flight with a stop, the grand Hyatt in Kauai is pretty awesome

I'll 2nd that. We went summer of 2021 it was fantastic. It's a little far for this trip and time availability.

We did the Hyatt Ziva and Zilara at the same time in Jamaica (for work) and it was pretty nice… however, we did Zilara in Punta Cana and it was unreal. By far the best all inclusive that we've done. We're going to Ziva in Cabo on Monday and I'll try to report back. I'm not sure if they can possibly bear Punta Cana though… every single aspect was absolutely top notch.

Book soon because Hyatt just announced a big points devaluation kicking in really soon.

Thanks for the heads up, just bought some points and rebooked our trip before the devaluation. Going from 21,000-25,000 per night up to 40,000 at Zilara Cap Cana.

I landed on this one too. Booked for July as well.

Thanks everyone for all the info. Good for future trips.

Ziva in Cabo was amazing…. But then again I love Cabo.

Punt Cana is still my favorite though.
