I have well over 100k points on personal and 100k+ points on business but I think both are below the companion pass threshold separately.

How do I make it so all my points count toward one companion pass? I can only see my personal credit card points on my SW acct.

I've tried getting help from SW…. Just want to do this right so I don't screw myself in the process.

To get the companion pass, you need to earn 135k points in a calendar year. You don't get it with having the points in your account, you get it for earning that much in a year.

I think that's part of where I goofed - I did have 135k in 2022 between the two

Sounds like you have different RR numbers for each card. That sucks because they won't combine them retroactively and give you the benefit. They will combine them if the info is the same on each but they won't go back and recalculate the progress towards the companion pass. Each card should've pulled to the same RR account.

You should've been able to track the progress over the previous calendar year in your account.

Unrelated Companion Pass question:

Our CC will expire at the end of 2023 and we wont have enough to earn it again. We're looking at a trip at new years likely leaving on the 29th and returning on the 1st. Will we be able to use the companion pass on the flight home on the 1st or will I need to buy both tickets for the return?

Wasn't sure if it counted since the trip began in 2023

Companion pass isn't for 'trips', it's for 'flights'.

Your flights in 2023 will get cc. your flights not in 2023 will not get cc.

You could book the previous day, the latest flight of the day. If they change the itinerary, it will give you option to pick another flight free of charge. You can then pick a flight the next day, and it MIGHT carry over the companion with it.

But that's pretty specific, so not sure.

Just got an Email saying they are giving 10,000 companion points a year to RR members.

Believe that's "credit towards companion pass" if you have a SWA CC. Not actual points.
