I've done a bit of googling, but looking for this board's recommendations for an all inclusive Caribbean (or tropical, not totally sold on any destination yet) resorts for a honeymoon. Wedding is in December, but we're open to not going immediately after the wedding. We've heard good things about St. Lucia, but open to other suggestions. Adults only is key, and something with light activities is fine. Really just looking get away and chill, eat, and drink in a nice location. We'll be leaving from Houston. Fairly healthy budget, nothing crazy. TIA.

Jade Mountain in Saint Lucia is out of this world. Adults only, all inclusive, private butler, etc. Open air rooms with a private pool. Walk or shuttle down to the beach or just relax in your room all day long.

Stonefield Villas in St Lucia was really nice. Adults only, private pools. We had a blast there.

No AC. Lots of ceiling fans and you can call for standing fans. It was never an issue and I'm pretty hot natured. Always a breeze and at night cooled down nicely. No issue with bugs either. We went in March.

Yes it's a travel agent, but Jim will interview you and your fianc and will not let you down. We've used him 5 or 6 times since our wedding and have probably referred 20 ppl- everyone has been blown away. We've never been charged more than advertised rates- I think the resorts pay their commission. Seriously- check it out. They'll put you on stuff you've never heard of.

Totally depends what you are looking for. Sadly, right now flights to Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados and Grenada are terrible. Most have a 45 min layover in Miami, 40 minute i a Charlotte or 40 minute in Atlanta. Just not feasible. Most of my clients are doing an overnight in Miami.

Jumby Bay, Jade Mountain, Palm Island, Anse Chastanet, Cap Juluca are just some of the higher end resorts.

I sell quite a bit of Sandals in those areas, but with crappy flights, have been less over the past 18 months.

Staniel Cay Yacht Club

Unbelievably beautiful, and part of your rental includes a boat you and your bride can drive to the Thunderball Grotto, some otherwise empty beaches, iguanas, and swimming pigs.

And you can stay right on the ocean!

It's fantastic, I can't recommend it enough.

I would consider the ritz in Puerto Rico. The St Regis there has too many kids running around, so avoid that one.

Amanyara in Turks & Caicos if you really feel like balling out.

In 2005, Jumby Bay, an all inclusive Rosewood in Antigua. Same year Cap Jaluca for some friends of ours. 2010 Palmilla in Cabo- seems like everyone know about the Palmilla now... Helped us decipher Costa Rica, ended up in Tamarindo at Capitan Suizo. Two other couples said: somewhere in Bali or Tahiti w huts on stilts over water- he had many options. He also does all the "getting there" stuff (shuttles, flight routes), dinner recommendations/reservations, spas, golf, etc so you don't have to track it all down.

Wow thanks, all. Lots to look into. I appreciate it. JMac I may PM you sometime soon if you don't mind. We're not opposed to working with an agent either.

British Virgin Islands. Rosewood's Little Dix Bay. It was spectacular when we went there 10 years ago and they just renovated it. Beach drops to private, secluded islands, where you feel like you are alone in the middle of the ocean. It's awesome.

There are a lot of great options in the Caribbean for adults only all-inclusive. I have a lot of my clients that love the Sandals brand for honeymoons along with Excellence, Secrets and Hyatt Zilara. Some things to consider would be transport time to resort and is a key to think about in St. Lucia. Would love to help you plan as my email and IG Bio are in my Signature. I was just aboard the Lady Sandals yacht yesterday and there are some wonderful new concepts at Sandals Dunns Rivers which opens this May.

We loved Turks. That said, going to St. Croix in a month and chose there over Lucia due to beach reviews.

Depends if the beach is a big deal for you or not but we absolutely loved the Hyatt Ziva in Punta Cana. Everything was top notch.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach between the Pitons and it is awesome, here is Superman (Superman II) flying over the site before it was developed:
