Pretty specific ask - we are looking to do 2 different multi day hikes in Scotland and are looking at several different companies that will make overnight arrangements and carry bags from place to place for you. Anyone have any experience doing this in Scotland?

If you're hiking the West Highland trail this is the best source of info I've found:

https://www.goingthewholehogg.com/west-highland-way-guide/

They have YouTube videos as well.

We're planning on doing it in the fall.

We're going in September. Current plans include part of the Great Glen Way and then later the Borders Abbeys way, but with day packs and B&Bs.

That's when we're going as well!

It might be worth checking their recommendations on the bag couriers from the WHT, they may offer services for other trails.

We're planning on tent camping about half of it and then using couriers the days we want to just day hike it.

It's a beautiful country with some of the best, most down to earth people in the world!

Looks like Great Glen picks up right where the West Highland Trail ends in Fort William....I would bet some of the couriers service both!
