Heading to Vero Beach, FL in 2 weeks for a wedding. We were planning on staying an extra 3 days in Orlando at Universal with our 15 and 13 year old daughters (younger one turns 13 while we are there). Problem is that daughter just suffered a concussion in a pole vaulting mishap. Her first concussion back in '21 took her 3 months to fully recover from. This one does not appear as serious, but we aren't messing around with her brain. So Universal is now out.
We will have a car and am looking for recommendations on how to enjoy those 3 days. Need to avoid intense visual/noise stimulation in the event she is still not fully recovered. Open to hanging out on the beach some, but assuming the Atlantic will be too cold to swim. We enjoy being outside, so hikes and/or animal watching would be great. Museums/aquariums are a possibility, but ranks lower on the list for the kids. Any thoughts?
