Anyone ever use? Thoughts? Pro/cons?

(My Private jet in shop from too many Rome trips for football game watching, so not an option)

I use it from Houston to Dallas. It's great. It's the best product available.

The only drawback would be that there aren't as many flights so if you wanted to hop on an earlier/later flight there aren't many options.

I tried them out back in February for a Sunday flight home from Vegas and will likely never fly anything other than JSX to Vegas... at least coming home on a Sunday.

I go to Houston about every other week, usually for a day trip or 1 night. I have taken JSX the last several trips, combined with the onsite Go car rental, and it makes a day trip more doable and damn near relaxing.

I have showed up at the FBO 5 minutes before departure and made the flight (no bags), and we were literally wheels up 10 minutes after I had handed my keys to the Valet.

Tickets run cheaper than business select on SWA and also a bit less than first class on American or United. Highly recomment.

I noticed yesterday that they are offering DAL to CLL for Aggie football games as well as a couple of away games. $599 round trip but you get your pregame and postgame beverages gratis and no TSA.

I inadvertently booked a return flight from Vegas on JSX (thought I was booking Jet Blue). When I realized the mistake, I found this thread and decided to give them a try instead of rebooking.

Yeah, it took us to DAL instead of DFW, but other than that, it was a great experience. Even with an Uber from Love Field to DFW, I bet I still got home faster than if I'd been on AA direct to DFW - I'd have spent more time at baggage claim than I did in the Uber. The service onboard was great and the amount of space and legroom was very nice. I may start flying them to Denver when we visit our son.

Does anyone know if they have plans to go to San Antonio? I'd love this service

A buddy of mine flew with them out of Dallas Love Field and said it was awesome. The next football flight for A&M is this weekend to CLL for the Miami game. Pretty convenient that they fly back to Dallas right after the game. Drinks/snacks and valet included.

Just keep in mind they often only have 1 plane running back and forth all day. Especially Houston to Dallas. So I there is any delay or they don't meet their minimum number of seats sold, you're F'ed.

An 10am flight turned into a 4pm arrival because of cancelation of that back and forth and there are no other planes to get on.

Bumping this for a quick question for those who are familiar with JSX.

When do they update available routes/flights? We're likely doing Destin/30A this year and when I search they say it's a seasonal flight from HOU. However, the only airport to book as a destination airport with HOU as my origin is Dallas.....

Or are they only flying from HOU to DAL going forward?

We fly them a ton dallas to Houston. Rarely if ever do we have an issue and the one time I experienced one they swapped planes. Not saying it can't happen, it haven't experienced it.

Dallas is their home base. Almost all their flights come from or direct through Dallas

DAL to Destin flights are now available for the summer months.

We've flown them to Denver/Boulder a few times this winter already to ski Winter Park. So much better than flying into DIA. Well worth the extra cost.

Yeah. Looks like they aren't doing houston to Destin this year like they have in the past. They removed it from the flight map recently.

yea i would love this kind of flight option out of houston....seems JSX is best if you base out of dallas.

anything comparable (another competitor?) for us houston or austin folks??

Have done the HOU-DAL trip on JSX roughly 10 times now. First "bad" experience was last week.

We accelerated on runway at DAL, but had to turn back because some light came on. They couldn't fix it, so that meant we had to switch planes. There were no planes sitting around, so we had to wait for flight from AUS to arrive.

The delay was about 3 hours. It also caused delays on the later HOU flight and a flight to BJC.

JSX brought in pizza for everyone and we got $150 voucher. They will continue to get my business.

Hence my post. The last time I went to pick someone up there was an issue with the plane in Dallas and the next 2 back and forths were canceled.

It's great when it goes smoothly, but no options when it doesn't.

What do y'all do about rental cars? Uber? I'd be doing Houston to Dallas and back

Have only used Uber at both. No problems.

Go Rentals is onsite at most of the JSX destinations.

Does anybody know of any similar or private flights headed to Oxford for the Ole Miss game late on Friday night? Or where we could search? From North Houston. Our daughter is on the drill team and that's the night of the Daddy Daughter field dance and we can't miss!
