No, that's only for like, good things. With strikeouts the more you talk about it the more they come!

Unfortunately, despite Wood striking out at every plate appearance the worthless Gnats aren't going to give him enough at bats to reach 5Ks.

It's jealousy from his teammates. None of them will ever be two away from a Major League record.

Adding insult to injury, Wood was pulled from the game for a pinch hitter who, naturally, struck out.

Wood finishes with 221 strikeouts, good for third all-time.

The Gnats managed one hit against the White Socks. They should be relegated to Double A for that.
