Because I only pay to attend American football games, not the pretend eurotrash version of grass hockey who have near-death experiences any time an opponent comes within 3 inches of them.

For most matches you can probably pay $20 if you wait until an hour before kickoff.

They over expanded the tournament, and put it in the one rich country on earth that doesn't care that much.

Hate soccer all you want, but you're dead wrong here. Even for group play there is no way you're getting in the stadium for anywhere close the $20.

I remember paying $60 in '94 to watch Germany-South Korea at the Cotton Bowl. Pretty good seat in the lower level. Germany choked and they tied.

I don't hate soccer at all. There are more group stage matches in this World Cup than there were TOTAL games played in previous versions. And a lot of those matches will be absolute trash with garbage teams that would never have qualified in previous years.

No, you aren't getting into a Brazil or Germany game for $20. But Haiti v Scotland? Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia?

Agreed. If I want to watch grown men struggle for 90 minutes to score, I go to a bar.

I recognize it's a big deal, and Kansas City is only two hours away. I'd pay $40 each for nosebleeds and the experience of going. Not sure if $40 will buy parking this time around.

FIFA is such a corrupt organization, and they've priced average people out of "The World's Game." I doubt I'll even watch on TV.

I went to the Spain vs South Korea match in the Cotton Bowl that year. Eventful day:

1. Listened to the OJ Simpson Bronco chase while tailgating in the parking lot.

2. Women from Spain were shockingly beautiful.

Colleyville here Southlake Ag…headed to see Argentina vs Jordan, the Messi draw was too hard to say no to. The prices have stayed the same in our section (238) but I know other games at Jerry's World that have dropped recently. If you aren't tied to seeing the Dutch, you could see another cheaper (England vs Croatia).

Headed to Texas live for the Orange Bus parade and game on Sunday.

And if a baseball game ends up 1-0 we say that it was an outstanding pitching duel

If your value of a sport is how many points are scored, you would probably love cricket.

And it's not like football scores touchdowns that many more times than soccer games have goals, they just assign more points to each score. Our playoff game against Miami was 1-0. Texas beat us 3-2. Both are normal scores in soccer.
