I say we still need a veteran solid Linebacker and running back. I still don't trust our LBs. one more DT would be nice too. How many more can we take?

We are not in the portal market for an Emergency quarterback.

Here is an "Early Look" for our QB room going into the 2026 season:

1. Marcel Reed 6'1'' 175 - Junior (RS) - Here in 2026.
- Starting QB for 2026

2. Brady Hart 6'4" 195 - Freshman (RS) - Here in 2026
- Will become QB #2 in 2026 - Starting QB in 2027 / 2028

3. Helman Casuga 6'1" 220
- True Freshman - Will RS as a QB in 2026 - Will enroll in classes in January 2026.
- Will become QB #3 - Possible starting QB in 2028 / 2029

4. Eli Marcos 6'1" 205 - Freshman (RS) - Probable Scout Team QB - Here in 2026
5. Paxton Land 6'4" 225 - Sophomore (RS) - Probable Scout Team QB - Here in 2026

Well Reed has shown he's durable just like Mond. Two seasons played with no back up required.

Also any QB worth having is not going to come here to be 3rd string.

And Zeno played nada this past year so that's also telling.

So we aren't heavily going after a RB. We may take a more FB type that will get a tiny amount of carries but we aren't pursuing heavily.

Also just heard there is an outsode shot we take another LB but not really looking to take one and we would accept Miller if he commits but he has more playing time and money elsewhere.

Very surprising. Can this mean that Riden and Morrow will be truly SEC-ready next year and clearly surpass Owens on the depth chart?

Or did Elko simply strike out with the rbs he really wanted?
