If there was a 3-0 team with canceled games due to the plague, they'd be ranked above us at 8-0.

If there's anything to thank the Committee for tonight, it's hopefully convincing at least a few more Ags that stockpiling otherworldly talent and hiring the best coaches IS NOT ENOUGH FOR SUSTAINED SUCCESS.

No other team in CFB, save FSU, is getting systematically antagonized as much as us, from officiation to media coverage to high-impact decision making like the ranking tonight. Until we wake up and pressure our leadership (Trev Alberts) to go to war for us, this will never change.

Where in this thread has anyone *****ed about A&M at 3? Whos playing the victim? The whole point of this thread is that the committee called out the defense and its all that was needed to light a fire under their a$$ to go out and make a statement.

We've got notre dame and Arkansas. If either iu or osu played them their defensive stats would also be worse.

Conversely, if we played osu or Indianas schedule, or defense would probably look much better on paper.

Whatever, doesnt matter, we win out or win 2 of the next 3 sec games, were in the playoffs. That's where we really want to be. We will have ample opportunities to prove these clowns wrong

I am fine with Ohio State being #1, but being the defending national champions should not enter into it. That was last year.

And we still lead the nation in 3rd down conversion allowed

Giving OSU and Indiana some love in the meantime. Cause folks would go crazy nationally if A&M had come out of 1st ranking as #1.

They know A&M plays both MO and Texas before season end.

Remember when Ohio State made it into the playoff over Big Ten Champion Penn State?

Or when Notre Dame made it into the playoff over A&M despite getting blown out in the ACC title game?

Or when tu & Alabama made it into the playoff over undefeated Florida State?


I think people are wary of the possibility of us getting screwed down the line if it comes down to A&M vs one of the bolded names.
