Got the green light for a new work truck

Its time for a new work truck. I spend most of the time on the highway, but I drive into ditches a lot, I don't like getting stuck and I will leave the truck idling at inspections for an hour or two. Very rarely do I tow, but the bed is always full of tools.

I have had:

2018 F150 lariat 4x4 3.5 EB: great except the IWEs going out and the engine lost compression 2 cylinders @ 190k mi

2022 Silverado LTZ 4x4 3.0 dmax: worked great, seat was not comfortable, cool tech, not a fan of having to find special oil, def was a little annoying.

2023 Tundra limited 4x4 3.4TT: its ok, but nothing stellar about it. I have 114k miles on it with no issues with the engine. Its just little stuff that you take for granted with other brands.

What I want:

-most likely still 1/2 ton, but the simplicity of the gas engines in the 3/4 tons are tempting.

-4x4 only and I prefer having a rear locker

-I would like 18" wheels to get a little more sidewall over the 20"s that are on everything

My current prospects I like at the moment are the F150 tremor and Ram rebel. A basic RHO might fit the budget but I dont think the boss would be ok with something that looks like that.

Any other suggestions or contacts appreciated.

Ok it may be able to be tuned out but Im pretty sure a f150 won't sit and idle for more than like 20 min even with the key in it. I know that's true for some Chevy as well. My 2020 2500 would idle all day but Colorado and 1500 turn off unless you interact with it. Brake steer etc.

I would say F150 or Ram. I'm really enjoying my Ram 2500 so far. I've had it about 6 months now.

GM is too undependable these days unfortunately.

You can turn it off via the screen but just have to do it every time. Or I can make it go away too.

Yeah I think it's a pretty dangerous feature really. I'm so used to old trucks that will run as long as there is fuel there should be a motion or ir sensor because I can imagine a kid or dog getting left in there thinking it's running and it shuts off.
